We have a long-standing commitment to sustainable practices throughout the life cycle of our products—from development and manufacturing to distribution and ultimately disposal, we dedicate ourselves to the health and safety of the environment and the community, and to the appropriate use of resources.

You can be assured our products are environmentally friendly. We make use of natural, renewable raw materials, including pine stumpwood and citrus extracts.

An abundant supply of pine stumpwood comes from the sustainably managed pine forests of the southeastern United States, ensuring feedstock reserves that extend far into the future. We extract natural rosin from the stumps of longleaf and slash pine, which we harvest from areas previously cut by the landowner. Removing the stumps benefits the landowner and the land by facilitating the reforestation that ensures sustainable production.

After extraction of the rosin and oils, the remaining biomass is used as fuel, thereby minimizing the need for non-renewable fossil fuels. Our cogeneration facilities provide much of the electricity needs of the plant, allowing for maximum utilization of this unique forest resource.
